I just can't resist sharing about my second love, style & beauty. Again I do not claim to be an expert, but I do love to explore and try. Whether it is new hairstyles, make-up tips, manicure ideas, DIY anything or all things fashion, I'm always ready to learn! So, where do I go to fuel my obsession? Lauren Conrad and her team. Seriously thank goodness for Lauren Conrad, her fabulous hairstylist Kristen Ess and her make-up artist Amy Nadine on the creation of The Beauty Department. These beautiful ladies saw a great need; a need for the everyday woman to know the tricks of the trade, to be up on the latest trends and they not only share this knowledge, but they also show you how to make it happen. I also draw inspiration from her beauty guide books or pictures that pop up in the gossip columns (and instagram of course) that share her effortless style and new trends, I am hooked. This Mid-western girl loves that Lauren Conrad,Kristen Ess & Amy Nadine have created an accessible place to learn all things trending in beauty & style, knowing that I'm a long way from the fashion hubs of LA and New York.
