I found this gem at Goodwill for $3. Some might have walked away, but I saw a beauty.

Picture Perfect
Slowly, but surely I am masking the white walls of my apartment.
In the living room I've added to the collage of pics with a few
different accents. One new addition is the "B," which is simply a wooden
cut-out from Hobby Lobby. As seen in my previous posts I have taken
two black 8x10 frames, painted them mint green and added unique accents
to make them stand out. With one of the frames I removed the backing and
added burlap to add to the vintage feel. This frame displays my
parents wedding picture, pictures of my Mother as a child and a picture
of my Grandpa Ray in the Navy. With the other frame I simply wrapped
the glass with lace ribbon.
A blast from the past. My spare bedroom is filled with Boo memorabilia. So many memories in one small space; from high school to college and so much more. I can't help but love my Grandma's little red dining table which is now utilized as my crafting station.

Family Ties.
I have desperately been missing my Montana homestead. Both of my parents grew up in Montana, I was born there, but when I was just a little tyke we moved away. Growing up I spent every summer heading back West; working the garden with Grandpa, cooking with Grandma, driving feed trucks at 8 years old, climbing grain elevators, adventures on the gator and so much more. Sometimes it seems we take those precious moments for granted, what a wonderful childhood! I am thankful for the incredible family I have been blessed with and all the wonderful adventures we have been on together. Sounds like I need to start looking for a flight...my weekly Sunday chats with Grandpa Ray just aren't enough. It's time for a visit.
